Having been in the beauty industry for over two decades, I consider myself very passionate for my work. I have a strong desire to continually impress my clients by educating them on how to care for their hair, skin, and nails, and, in turn, they love it! I have a genuine enthusiasm in bringing out clients' unique personality and style while in my chair.

I take pride in educating myself with all the information I can, to bring my clients the best in the industry. . . not what is necessarily 'new', just what is the best. . .because THAT is what you deserve. My education began in Fond Du Lac, WI in the cosmetology program and over the yeras have been perfecting my techniques, working side by side with some of the best, in hands-on workshops, seminars, communications and human relations classes, as well as product knowledge. . . now realizing JOICO is the best! Working with JOICO, I have seen how it can transform to beautiful, healthy hair! In my travels across the country, I haven't found anything better and JOICO makes it affordable to have beautiful hair!

It has been almost 4 years since I have shifted gears and became an owner. Being cofounder and co-owner of DeJa You, I find it much more challenging and involved than being behind the chair exclusively! The success of DeJa You Salon has much to do with the entire staff. We are lucky enough to have a staff that prides themselves in education in this ever changing industry and that is what it takes to contine to give the professional and much sought after service that we strive to give on a daily basis. By educating our staff, we are ensuring our clients are always presented with the best.

Graduating in 1992 from Carousel Beauty College in Huber Heights, Ohio, I began my career as a Managing manicurist. I quickly realized I loved doing nails! In 2000, I moved to Wisconsin and obtained my license here. My dream was to open my own salon. I was blessed to meet a dear friend also in the industry with the same dream. We worked together at a salon while putting our ideas together. Finally we achieved our dream in 2005 and opened DeJa You Salon in Rice Lake, Wisconsin.

After all these years it still amazes me the difference I can make in my clients' hands and feet. Many things are accomplished during the process. Most noticeably is the appearance. In today's busy life styles, everyone deserves to relax and detoxify the stress away. To add a little fun and uniqueness to the nails, I enjoy being creative with nail art designs. I am honored to make a young woman on her way to prom or a lovely bride on her way down the aisle feel amazingly beautiful on their special day. My passion for learning new techniques to enhance nails continues to grow to this day. This is not just a job for me. I really enjoy it and feel a special connection with my clients. If I can educate them on home maintenance tips and I make them feel better about how they look and feel I have accomplished my goal. I have been truly blessed and I am grateful for all I have achieved.

My career started in 2002 and I've been with the DeJa You team for almost 4 years. My main focus is on color and custom haircuts, but I specialize in Bridal, Prom, or other special occasion styles and body sugaring by Alexandria.

My professional education began at Martin's College of Cosmetology in Green Bay, receiving my cosmetology license and being certified in body sugaring through Alexandria Professional. I continued my education to keep with the latest trends and new techniques.

I strive to bring out each client's own style in their finished look. I look forward to many more years of making clients look and feel glamorous.

I received my education at Chippewa Valley Technical College and continue my training at every opportunity through workshops and shows wherever they arise. Keeping up with new techniques and current trends behind the chair keeps you looking your best when you leave my chair.

I've now been in the business for eight years and have made DeJa You Salon my home since 2005, where pampering is endless. Not only can I take care of all your hair needs, but your nails needs as well. My specialty is foil hair color and acrylic nail extensions, putting the entire look together with a great haircut! I will bring out your inner Rock Star, in a low maintenance and non-time consuming manner. Because I understand how busy our lives can be and usually are, I want to help you achieve the look most fitting for you.

I strive to make you feel renewed after leaving the salon, whether it is from a Hot Stone Massage, facial or body wrap, but it doesn't have to stop there.

Prior to receiving my certification for massage from St. Croix Center of the Healing Arts, I earned my degree in Cosmetology. Since graduating in 2002 from WITC in Rice Lake, Wisconsin, I have been customizing hair designs to fit the individual's lifestyle with cuts, colors and texturizing.

I am always current with the latest trends and techniques by attending classes and shows all around Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Illinois.

My #1 goal is to educate clients on how to feel more confident in being able to style the hair outside the salon with our Joico products and tools. By first listening to you, I will make you feel relaxed, renewed and rejuvenated. YOU are the passion in my work!!
